Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania is one of two, third class cities situated in Beaver County which is located in the southwest portion of the state. “A small city with a big heart”, it prides itself on being a welcoming community.
It is also the hometown of football legend Joe Namath. In 1868, the area originally known as Brighton, was chartered as Beaver Falls and adopted the commission form of government in 1913. Up to 200 Chinese residents called this area home in the 1870’s. Railroads, highways and rivers offer different means of traveling in, out, and around the city. Geneva College and The Carnegie Free Library are also nestled in this quaint city. |
